La Trinité sur mer - Carnac

La Trinité sur Mer

The port

A natural harbour at the mouth of the River Crac'h, at the bottom of the bay of Quiberon. Once renown for its oysters, it is now a famous yacht harbour where you can admire some of the world's most beautiful ocean-going racers.

Small or large, on the river or on the bay, there is a beach to suit all tastes according to which way the wind is blowing and your preference - trendy, up-market, sporty, quiet or isolated.

The standing stones

The standing stones of Carnac, as impressive as they are fascinating. Everything has been said about their origin, but one things is certain, no-one knows what that is.

Many buildings in the area were built with stone taken from the site in the 19th century, notably Goulphar, the main lightbouse on Belle Ile. A site not to be missed, to be visited preferably at sunrise or sunset.

See also the tumulus St, Michel de Carnac, with a view over the whole region.

The beaches

From the biggest" La Grand-Plage", to the most secret at Pô, you will be overcome by their diversity and charm.

Sea Water Therapy

An area favoured for treatments, sauna, spa or hamman. Open all year - ideal for your out-of-season weekends. Various packages available, including 2 hours access to the Spa.
